My Story with English
I am Jenny Qing, a translator of Huadian Translation (hereinafter referred to as HTD) now. I have been here since March, 2008. I love my job very much as English was my favorite subject during my school life.


My first time to get to know English was at the end of my primary school life. At that time, English was as mysterious as God to me, which made me explode it. Since then, I have started my life of learning English.


I’ve poured a lot of efforts into learning it, which seems crazy to some other people around me. I believe, however, it has brought me happiness, confidence and courage to let me be what I want to be.


I am afraid that I will never forget what happened during my junior middle school life. At first, I was not an excellent student in my teacher's eyes but an ordinary one not worthy of his attention as my English was as good as other students’ and my other subjects were not very good. However, due to my persistence in learning English, I became the top one in the class, giving me great confidence to do my study better. And the teacher changed his opinion on me finally.


Nevertheless, I suffered the failure of being an English-major college student that I dreamed of as a result of my bad performance in English test of the College Entrance Examination, which disappointed me greatly. And together with it, a series of frustrations came to me continuously, throwing me into being completely unconfident and full of confusion about the future.


What surprised me is that I could be a member of HTD as the graduation drew near. Afterwards, I tumbled to the fact that one of the most significant things I did in my four-year college study was to learning English without cessation, which helped me find the idealistic job that I have now. What matters is that I’m much more confident than before and have determination to do my work better.
